Outdoor living, built for New Braunfels.
New Braunfels sits between San Antonio and Austin where the spring-fed Comal meets the Guadalupe, a Comal County town built around river culture, Landa Park, and the historic Gruene district. Weekends here revolve around the water, and backyards are built to keep that going at home. XPRT Outdoor, a veteran-founded, BBB A+ accredited outdoor-living design-build company, designs and builds river-country entertaining spaces from our San Antonio office at 166 Seale Road.
Two kinds of projects define this town. Established river places want screened, bug-free rooms for long evenings near the water, while the fast-growing subdivisions want shade and outdoor kitchens built soon after move-in. Lots close to the Comal or Guadalupe call for flood-aware drainage and properly set footings, and New Braunfels runs its own permitting. Our crews plan for both the river and the heat before anything is poured.

What we build in New Braunfels
Screen Rooms & Motorized Screens — Fixed and motorized screen rooms that keep river-country mosquitoes out and the evening breeze in near the Comal and Guadalupe.
Composite Decks — Low-maintenance composite decks that hold up to river humidity and the sun that new-build subdivisions get in full.
StruXure Motorized Pergolas — Motorized louvered roofs that give a new-subdivision patio real shade fast, then open to full sun when the weather turns mild.
Outdoor Kitchens — Built-in kitchens for the river-country entertaining these homes are built around, with gas, water, and electrical run right.
Patio Covers — Insulated aluminum and custom wood covers that make a Texas summer patio usable through the long cooling season.
Frameless Glass Railing — Uninterrupted railing for elevated and riverside decks that keeps the water and tree-line views open.
New Braunfels questions, answered
We design with drainage and floodplain awareness, setting footings and elevations appropriate to where the lot sits. Requirements vary by property near the rivers, so we plan the structure to the ground conditions we find rather than a generic template.
Yes. Work is permitted through the City of New Braunfels, and floodplain-area lots can carry additional review. We prepare the submittals and coordinate inspections so the process is handled for you.
That is one of the most requested projects here. We build fixed screen rooms and install motorized screens that drop at the touch of a button, so a porch or covered patio stays usable through the buggy months near the water.
New-build lots often start with full sun and little cover. Patio covers, pergolas, and motorized louvered roofs add usable shade soon after move-in, and we can phase a deck or kitchen in as the yard comes together.
