A paver patio takes the movement in stride. Set on a properly compacted and drained base, individual Belgard pavers flex with the soil and can be lifted and reset if the ground ever shifts, without the cracking a monolithic pour shows.
The pavers are the easy part; the base under them decides how the patio ages. We excavate to the right depth, compact a graded aggregate base, and plan drainage so water moves off the clay instead of pooling under it.
