Common questions
They solve different problems. Pavers flex with the soil, so they resist the cracking a poured slab shows over time, and a damaged unit can be lifted and replaced without patching the whole surface. Poured concrete is a continuous surface and can cost less; we build both and will tell you which fits your yard.
The base, more than the paver. Most paver failures come from a thin or poorly compacted base that settles and drains badly. We excavate to depth, compact an aggregate base in lifts, grade it to shed water, and lock the field with edge restraint so the pattern holds.
Yes. The units are dense, colorfast, and rated for heat and traffic, and permeable options let water pass through the surface where drainage is a concern. We grade the base to move water away from the house and can integrate drains where the site needs them.
