Cedar Park grew fast, and much of it is newer construction: subdivisions like Avery Ranch and Buttercup Creek, along with the neighborhoods off Ronald Reagan and Whitestone Boulevard where the trees are young and the backyards get full sun all day. The request we hear most is shade, and shade quickly. We design pergolas, patio covers, and covered outdoor rooms that make a new-build backyard usable in its first summer instead of its tenth.
Sitting west of the Balcones Escarpment, Cedar Park is Edwards Plateau country: a thin layer of soil over hard limestone and caliche. That rock changes how everything gets anchored. Post holes are often core-drilled rather than dug, and hardscape needs a base built for stone, not clay. Our crews are equipped for that ground, so footings for a cover, pergola, or deck go in solid the first time instead of fighting the rock halfway down.

Most of Cedar Park's growth is recent, so the trees are young and backyards take direct sun from morning to evening. A pergola or patio cover is the quickest way to reclaim the space, and a louvered roof lets you keep morning light while blocking the harsh afternoon angle.
The limestone and caliche under Cedar Park is hard on hand-dug footings, so we core-drill post holes and build hardscape bases suited to rock rather than soil. It takes the right equipment, but it means anchors go in solid and stay put.
The City of Cedar Park requires permits for most structural exterior work, and many neighborhoods add an HOA architectural review on top. We handle both the permit application and the association submittal so the approvals move at the same time.
